Custonic uses a dual AI model pipeline. Claude Haiku performs an initial fast screening of every contract, then Claude Sonnet conducts a deep analysis on flagged clauses. This two-stage approach delivers both speed and accuracy, processing most contracts in under 3 minutes while maintaining high analytical precision.

Custonic analyses contracts across 12 distinct risk categories, including auto-renewal traps, unilateral modification rights, liability caps, IP ownership, data processing terms, termination notice periods, switching fees, indemnification clauses, and more. Each category includes severity scoring and specific remediation guidance.

Custonic is purpose-built for European small and medium-sized businesses that manage vendor and supplier contracts but lack a full in-house legal team. It is especially valuable for procurement managers, operations leads, and founders who need to understand contract risk without reading every clause manually.

Persistent contract data is stored in the configured Supabase EU project in Stockholm, and application functions run in Vercel Frankfurt. Vercel Workflow stores encrypted identifier/status payloads plus unencrypted operational metadata in iad1, but not contract text, findings or summaries. AI analysis uses Anthropic's commercial API under its configured data terms. The full service is not represented as EU-only processing.

Anthropic does not use commercial API inputs or outputs for model training by default. Standard API data is deleted within 30 days; zero data retention applies only where separately approved and contracted.

All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Access to contract data is governed by role-based access controls, and AI analysis is processed via Anthropic's commercial API under the configured data-retention terms.

Custonic is designed with controls that support GDPR obligations, including tenant isolation and EU-region persistent storage. Compliance depends on the customer's use and applicable agreements; request the current contractual privacy and subprocessor information and verify whether a DPA is available for your assessment.

Yes. Each verified account can run one contract scan at no charge, with no credit card required. Choose a paid plan to analyze and monitor additional contracts.

Starter (€149/mo) covers up to 50 contracts with AI analysis, email alerts, weekly digests, and 2 users. Professional (€299/mo) adds compliance cross-checking, portfolio/model-term comparison, authenticated REST API access, and up to 200 contracts for 10 users. Enterprise is a custom annual agreement with contract volume, user volume, and overage rates stated in the order form.

Self-serve checkout is currently charged in EUR. Your card issuer may perform its own conversion; Custonic does not currently publish or guarantee non-EUR checkout prices.

Yes. Annual billing saves 20% compared to monthly payments. Both monthly and annual plans include the same features, and you can switch between billing cycles at any time from your account settings.

Custonic sends email alerts and weekly portfolio digests. Professional and Enterprise customers can also use the authenticated REST API in their own workflows.

Yes. Professional and Enterprise plans include full REST API access. You can programmatically upload contracts, retrieve analysis results, query risk scores, and integrate Custonic data into your existing procurement or vendor management workflows.

Custonic covers three core regulatory pillars: the EU Data Act, UK DMCCA readiness (the Government anticipates spring 2027, subject to secondary legislation and commencement), and German AGB law (§§305–310 BGB), plus an EU AI Act procurement pack. Each contract is cross-checked against the applicable framework, scope and effective date.

Custonic currently supports reviewed EU Data Act and EU AI Act procurement rules, UK DMCCA readiness, and DACH consumer/AGB checks. Nordic-specific and custom jurisdictions are not live entitlements.

When Custonic analyses a contract, it identifies the applicable jurisdiction and maps each clause against the relevant regulatory requirements. For example, a cloud services agreement with an EU supplier is checked against EU Data Act switching provisions, notice periods, and data portability requirements — flagging any terms that conflict with or fall short of the regulation.
